[BECK - DEVILS HAIRCUT]

The Black Hills of South Dakota are famous for a lot of things. Crazy Horse, the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore… If you’ve ever randomly found yourself on I-90 in western south dakota, I guarantee you’ve seen sign after sign, after sign… after sign… after sign… after sign… for one of my favorite stops IN south dakota.

[JUMP UP AND DOWN SHAKING YAZ, AND HAVE HER GRIMMACE, AND SAY “OMG IM SO EXCITED!”]

This place is like Buc-ee’s of the Badlands.

This place started as a mom and pop roadside stop to lure travelers in headed to the Badlands. Fresh donuts, 5 cent coffee, and best of all- free water. And when THIS is what you’re traveling through… that’s good marketing.
Little by little it’s grown into a destination all its own. Souvenirs galore, western wear, boots, hats, even a traveler’s chapel. The Indian artwork and crafts are all made locally, and they even have a cafeteria that serves up some of that down home comfort food.

Wander around out back and see what interesting things you find- this place is great for kids and adults who think they ARE still kids
